Receiver I

📥A Receiver I job in Temecula, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You will be the gatekeeper for items coming into the Plant. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all goods and materials, both raw material and finished goods. You will also help distribute deliveries within the Plant to their respective departments. You must have one plus year of relevant experience with incoming inventory, along with exposure operating a Forklift.

• Shift: Monday – Friday, starting at 5:00 AM
• Starting Rate: $23.00/Hour

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MITER operating system, and Philosophy. 

• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.  Accurately code received goods to the proper account. 

• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.  Accurately code received goods to the proper account. 

• Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory.  Generate barcode labels as required. 

• Keep all parts in responsibility adequately always stocked.  Communicate with a supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low. 

• Incorporates MITER’s vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the MITER Guiding Principles.  

• Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures. 

• One year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting  

• Forklift experience with the ability to obtain certification onsite is required (Must have valid WA Driver’s License)  

• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted  

• Ability to self-manage and multi-task  

• Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment
