Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shipping Lead for our Inventory and offloading team in Temecula, CA. 

🎯 Role Purpose:

  • Support: Assist the Shipping Supervisor in achieving daily goals.
  • Leadership: Provide direction to team members and lead by example.
  • Guidance: Direct employees in the absence of a supervisor.
  • Training: Perform and train others in all shipping tasks.
  • 🤝 Collaboration: Work with integrity to earn trust and respect.

🕒 Work Schedule:

  • Regular Hours: Monday – Friday. Start time 5:00 am
  • Compensation: $28.50/hour

Responsibilities

  • Pre-shift the team on today’s goals for offloading and scanning.
  • Safety Stretches
  • Collaborate with Day leads and what put away units will go D2T (Mainly Intercompany)
  • Daily Cycle Count Section of the warehouse
  • Daily Cycle Count Target 99%
  • Aging report management
    • Work with departments to get cleaned up and maintained
    • FGCARTS under 125 daily
  • LPN Audits for off loaders. Check to see if you find any FGCARTS in location not scanned.
  • Load Audits- this will apply and be a collaborative effort with loading teams.
    • Load Quality and protection.
    • Load is Strapped
    • D2T is organized when loaded
  • Repairs Process and turn-around owner-
      • Ensure it goes to the line and scanned
      • Ensure once completed it gets quality check
      • Ensure once quality check it gets back to a scannable location
      • Ensure SSD is updated for quick turn-around
      • If invoiced out this is ALL MANUAL PROCESS
  • Locators- All locators updated and re-printed as needed in the warehouse.
  • Returns Process- Works with JBHUNT Partner to ensure product is getting off the truck and back into the warehouse.
  • Scrap out items as needed
  • Set-up Teams, assignments given, report head count and loading plan for the day.
  • All Scanners accounted for from dayshift and signed off.
  • All scanners checked out and listed in binder.
  • Review challenges with Supervisor on start-up.
  • End of Shift Pass down Recap to the team emailed and plan for the swing shift
  • If Goal is not met 5 WHY’s Target vs Actual.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending upon the needs of the department.
