Join our team as a Production Assembler I at PGT Custom Windows and Doors! You’ll work on B Shift (Monday through Thursday 5:00PM - 3:30AM) assembling components for doors, windows, and glass operations while following safe practices and producing quality results. This role is hands-on, team-oriented, and essential to keeping our production lines running smoothly. π
βοΈ Operate basic equipment and machines while completing routine tasks by following clear instructions.
π Follow established processes to complete daily operational tasks within defined standards.
β Support quality by adhering to strict quality requirements.
π¦Ί Always follow mandatory safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
β±οΈ Work according to your assigned schedule and maintain good attendance.
π Continuously develop skills through training, coaching, and assessments.
π Take ownership of your work, communicate effectively, and address issues promptly.
π€ Contribute to the team’s success—seek input, help others, and value collaboration.
π― Consistently meet production goals, even under challenging conditions.
π£οΈ Use clear communication skills to share ideas and request actions under supervision.
π Learn how to optimize plant equipment and resources for efficient production.
π Help identify problems in the production process and select appropriate solutions under supervision.
β οΈ Assist in identifying and managing risks within production processes.
π High School diploma or GED required.
π Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
πΆ Standing for 8–12 hours per shift.
π Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and squatting.
π Frequent reaching, pushing, and pulling away from the body.
π¦ Lifting and moving up to 90 lbs unassisted.
π Frequent repetitive movements with hands, feet, head, and neck.
βοΈ Exposure to variable temperatures, dust, and noise.
π₯½ Steel-toe safety shoes, eye and ear protection, and PPE required at all times.
