π¦ Move freight, stock, and materials between storage, production, loading docks, and vehicles using proper equipment.
πͺ Apply safe ergonomic techniques to maneuver materials weighing 90+ lbs.
π² Scan labels to track product placement and shipments.
π₯ Work effectively with team members to meet company goals.
π Compare packed items with customer orders to ensure accuracy.
β οΈ Report missing, lost, or damaged materials immediately to Supervisor.
π Complete storage, material flow, and shipment tasks while learning packaging needs.
π·οΈ Ensure all products are safely packed, labeled, and ready for shipping.
π οΈ Demonstrate safe use of material handling equipment.
π Assist with training newly hired team members.
β»οΈ Follow safety/environmental procedures and wear PPE as required.
π¦ Install protective devices (bracing, padding, strapping) to secure materials in transit.
β Perform accurate system transactions using scanners/computers.
π Learn company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct to ensure compliance.
π High School diploma or GED required.
π» Must understand shipping menus on AS400 and have product knowledge.
π¦Ί Comfortable operating conveyance equipment.
β±οΈ Reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work.
πͺ Able to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 60–100 lbs unassisted; up to 200 lbs assisted; moving up to 500 lbs with dolly).
π£οΈ Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
π¦ Logistical understanding and reasoning skills preferred.
πΆ Constant standing/walking (up to 12 hours/day).
π Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.
