Responsibilities

  • 🦺 Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • 🗣️ Communicate effectively and contribute to a team-focused environment
  • 📄 Read and interpret production orders (material type, size, color)
  • ✂️ Operate chop saws and industrial fabrication equipment (saws, punches, drills, routers)
  • 🔧 Use pneumatic hand tools for assembly and fabrication
  • 🪟 Assemble and install insulated glass panels into sash and/or frame
  • 🛠️ Install and attach hardware
  • 👀 Inspect work-in-process and finished units for quality compliance
  • 📦 Package, wrap, and stack completed units for shipment
  • 💡 Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
  • 🧼 Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • 📋 Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 📘 Ability to read and comprehend basic work instructions and production orders
  • ➕ Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
  • 📏 Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch accuracy
  • 💪 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and sustain physical activity throughout the shift
  • 🚶 Capability to stand and move while performing repetitive tasks
  • 🤝 A collaborative, team-driven attitude with strong attendance and reliability
  • 🎯 Commitment to quality, precision, and safety standards
  • 🧠 Problem-solving mindset and a drive to meet production goals
  • 🛠️ Previous experience in a team assembly environment is a plus
  • 🧍 Customer-focused mentality and a desire to exceed expectations
