Shipping Coordinator

Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Sacramento, CA manufacturing plant. You will play a vital role in ensuring the optimization of the service routes in an efficient and timely way. In addition, you will prepare documentation for the techs and ensure that all product is ready for the service dates. Support and collaborate with techs daily regarding questions on daily routes. You possess excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

The hourly compensation starts at $25.00. Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 a.m.

• Perform daily administrative tasks in Salesforce, Oracle Field Service Cloud and Oracle
• Responsible for creating manifest and shipping functions related to technician daily routes
• Verify product availability and maintain back-order management
• Handle inbound technician calls.  Employ product knowledge to answer product related inquiries
• Responsible for timely accurate filling, scanning, invoicing and tripping
• Procure and organize service order forms
• Ensure accurate filling or electronic filling as needed
• Make outbound calls
• Perform tasks as necessary to support business needs
• Support the customer service process by working extensively with customer service representatives, service technicians and warehouse expediters.

• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ experience in customer service utilizing and enterprise systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification preferred. 
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in using ERP/WMS systems, (ORACLE experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  
• Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.
• Overtime may be required, including some weekends.
• Prolonged sitting and Terminal use.
• Ability to lift and/or move office equipment and supplies.
