Swing Shift Production Assembler - Insulated Glass Department

A Swing Shift Production Assembler in Tacoma, WA job is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our Insulated Glass Department. You will be responsible for assembling insulated glass units, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the efficiency of our production line.

The hourly compensation starts at $22.00, plus $2.00 shift differential. You will work Monday thru Friday starting at 3:30 p.m. 

• Assemble insulated glass units according to specifications and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools used in the assembly process.
• Inspect components and finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
