Are you a detail-oriented, hands-on leader with experience in construction or window and door installation? Join the team at NewSouth Window Solutions as our next Assistant Production Manager and help us deliver top-tier results and outstanding service to homeowners across the region.
As an Assistant Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing installation schedules, supporting crews, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring jobs run smoothly from start to finish. This is a dynamic, boots-on-the-ground position that offers a mix of office coordination, field training, and team leadership.
Assist in scheduling installations and measurement appointments
Update customer records and job notes in Lead Perfection (CRM)
Coordinate crews and confirm materials are prepared for each job
Work with crews during loading to review scope and job expectations
Help supervise warehouse staff and day-to-day warehouse operations
Assist in reviewing and approving labor bills to ensure accuracy and fairness
Trigger and monitor jobs in the system to ensure timely execution
Collaborate with manufacturing on job flow and resolve production issues
Visit job sites and provide hands-on training to installers when needed
Assist in holding meetings with installation crews to share updates and expectations
Support Accounts Receivable collection and help lead AR meetings
What We’re Looking For:
4+ years of experience in construction or window and door installation
Hands-on field experience installing windows and doors strongly preferred
Ability to lift over 50 lbs and perform physical work as needed
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient with computers and job management systems
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
A team player who can adapt to changing priorities and solve problems quickly
