Using the master schedule, the Production Scheduler I plans and establishes manufacturing schedules that balance production levels with demand to support targets consistent with customer delivery schedules, departmental/company goals, and capacity utilization for assigned resource.
Primary 65%
· Schedules and releases production orders for assigned resources in accordance with the established deadlines.
· Compares current and forecasted demand with available capacity; uses judgement to anticipate and alert of any foreseeable constraints.
· Coordination of daily paperwork and production ticket distribution while ensuring accuracy.
Secondary 20%
· Analyzes options for continuing production when encountering unplanned disruptions.
· Schedule production for additional resources across the organization as required.
· Serve as point of contact for technical questions regarding problems with the build sequence, paperwork discrepancies, capacity concerns, material availability, and other constraints; providing support and problem fixing assistance to resolve production issues. Escalating to Mater Scheduler or leadership as needed.
Other 15%
· Direct support to Production Scheduler II as necessary.
· Analyzes options for continuing production when encountering unplanned disruptions.
· Schedule production for additional resources across the organization as required.
