Field Service Technician I

A Field Service Technician job is available in Sacramento CA., at Milgard Windows and Doors. You are responsible for servicing existing Milgard customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in the field.

The hourly compensation starts at $25.25. You will work Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 a.m. 

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of Milgard windows and doors to identify issues or required maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair window and door-related problems, ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with Milgard standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Document service visits and repairs accurately, maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with Milgard internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and manage inventory of tools and parts.
• Adhere to safety standards and Milgard policies during all service activities.
• Provide recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance and upgrades.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a service technician in the window and door industry, preferably with Milgard products.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
