Customer Service Rep

A Customer Service Representative job is available in Simi Valley, CA. You will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer support to builders, remodelers, contractors, and homeowners. This position focuses on replacement parts ordering for end users and addressing warranty-related inquiries.

MITER Brands, encompassing Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Innovations, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with manufacturing plants across the country. We are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers.

The hourly compensation starts at $22.00. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

• Deliver exceptional support to dealers and homeowners regarding warranty issues on Milgard products, via telephone or email.
• Process and review customer requests promptly and efficiently.
• Schedule Technicians within the assigned geographic region to perform warranty repairs.
• Work directly with customers from assigned accounts to provide information, process requests, and follow up on warranty and non-warranty issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Respond accurately to customer inquiries and process warranty issues in a timely manner.
• Handle payment transactions with confidentiality and integrity.
• Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers, including field service, sales, plant management, and engineering, to resolve order-related issues.
• Expedite special requests to meet customer deadlines.
• Maintain a flexible, open, and positive attitude when addressing challenging needs and customer demands.
• Perform clerical work and additional administrative duties as assigned.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one to two years of experience, preferably in manufacturing and building materials.
• Previous experience in windows sales and millwork is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in handling payment transactions confidentially.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and teams.
