Summary

MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.  We are seeking an experienced Sr. Human Resources Manager to serve as a key member of the senior leadership team at our Temperance, MI manufacturing location.  The Sr. Human Resources Manager will serve as a strong business partner who will lead and deploy strategic HR initiatives aligned with the Company’s strategic plan.  In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving HR excellence, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Anticipated Pay Range:  $111,000 USD - $139,000 USD, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a trusted advisor and strategic partner with 7–10+ years of HR leadership, including experience in manufacturing environments and managing HR teams.

 

In this role, you’ll lead and deliver critical HR initiatives that align with business objectives—supporting a dynamic workforce through programs in employee engagement, onboarding, talent development, safety, retention, change management, and leadership coaching. You’ll oversee a small HR team and serve as a key culture champion on-site.

Qualifications

You understand the importance of being a people-facing HR leader with regular presence on the production floor and willing to flex your schedule to provide in-person support for off shifts. 

 

You’ll bring expertise across employee relations (investigations, documentation, timeliness and equitable resolution), employee engagement, change management, onboarding, safety, compliance, and leadership development.

 

Strong candidates will be consultative, data-informed, and action-oriented, with a passion for building culture and influencing outcomes at all levels including but not limited to developing, coaching, and mentoring site leaders, workforce and succession planning, and team member relations and retention.
