Summary

A Shipping Coordinator Job is available in Tacoma, WA, You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of shipping and logistics. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the shipping process, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Communicate with carriers to arrange transportation and negotiate shipping rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the production and inventory teams to prioritize shipments and optimize workflows.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping records, reports, and documentation.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
