Trainer Plant CI

The Plant Trainer ensures that team members are effectively trained in the core and specialty competencies required for their respective positions. This shall include all aspects of instructing and facilitating team members at all levels of the organization in New Team Member Orientation, specialized or targeted training, local training, retraining, and team members development.

• Assist in TPM, Lockout tagout events and 5S classes. Explain to the team members the importance of regular maintenance, safety and clean-up and keeping everything as it should be on the line.
• Current one day orientations as they trickle through the door.
• Document and track evaluations
• Work with leadership in training needs and blind spots to bring to light to create a better onboarding process.
• Prepare the training content that will be used in the classroom.
• Obtain samples, create hands on learning tools, and work with maintenance on machines needed for training lab.
• Stay up to date on ECNs and product changes to properly train team members in their job.
• Stay up to date on current policy/procedures, safety, quality, continuous improvement opportunities, and culture of the company to ensure team member understands the “bigger picture” of the company they are joining,
• Getting new hires comfortable and acclimated with RHEO. Their training courses will cover- Job Descriptions, Quality expectations, Safety Expectations, TPM training, Job Instructional Training, a Quiz, and an extra lesson of a time study that will be performed at the end of every week of their evaluation journey.
• Develop and continuous updating of RHEO training as the business modifies and changes processes.
• Perform 5-day onboarding.

• Two+ years’ experience in an instructor position.
• Possess highly effective communication skills to coach and teach.
• Must communicate (both verbally and written in English and Spanish) detailed processes in a simple and concise manner making information easy to understand and engaging at all levels.
• Must have a strong ability to create, organize and execute a plan with a collaborative and creative approach.
• Ability to identify gaps in skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Planning and organizing.
• Ability to work independently as directed.
• Proven work experience in managing multiple tasks.
