The Production Supervisor plays a key role in fostering strong relationships with team members to lead a highly motivated group of 25–50 individuals in the production of our high-quality window and door products. This role is responsible for ensuring that team members perform their job responsibilities safely and effectively by utilizing standardized methods. The supervisor provides consistent communication, training, coaching, development, recognition, and supervision to support team success and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

A key part of the role is motivating the team to achieve their goals. Other job duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Support the achievement of local business goals by helping specialists set up and test new products or processes.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Develop short- to medium-term work schedules to meet production commitments, approving overtime or allocating additional resources as needed.
  • Monitor and review performance against Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) KPIs and behavioral patterns within the area of responsibility. Take corrective action to improve performance and address non-compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and mandatory guidelines.
  • Assist management in implementing quality assurance initiatives and driving continuous operational improvements.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify and report instances of non-compliance with company policies, procedures, or regulatory codes, escalating issues when appropriate.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
