In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our planning and production process—handling everything from grid edits and data entry to prepping production paperwork and researching system improvements. Compensation: $27.22/HR

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-2:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Performing a variety of tasks in support of scheduling and production functions
  • Managing grid edits, data entry, preparation of production paperwork, and system improvement research
  • Administering change orders and backorder resolutions by preparing change orders, reviewing acknowledgments, and verifying delivery dates
  • Attending Backorder and Production meetings to assist in resolving issues
  • Applying mathematics and formulas to calculate custom grid edits
  • Entering grid edits into the HFA program once modifications are completed
  • Troubleshooting backorder, waste, and system issues as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate records of grid edit data and error resolutions
  • Executing daily grid edits and reviewing related product information to improve production efficiency
  • Collaborating in a team environment to develop procedures that support production improvements
  • Learning engineering specifications of window lines and providing technical support to the sales team
  • Executing approved customer change orders to ensure follow-up, completion, and feedback
  • Assisting with capacity department/product leveling and performing other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • Proficiency in upper-level mathematics
  • Prior experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience with data entry and customer service
  • Ten-key by touch proficiency
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends based on business needs
