Day/Swing - Glass Cutter - Insulated Glass Department

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Glass Cutters to join our Insulated Glass Department for both swing and day shifts. The Glass Cutter is responsible for accurately cutting glass to specified dimensions and ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Compensation starts at $19.00 per hour. If you work swing shift you will receive $1.50 shift differential.

• Measure and cut glass to precise specifications using cutting tools and machinery.
• Inspect glass for defects and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Handle glass safely and efficiently to prevent damage or injury.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in glass cutting or a related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work swing and day shifts as required.
