Machine Operator - Pultrusion Extrusion

Our Pultrusion Extrusion Plant plays a critical role in supplying high-quality materials for our production processes. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in the Pultrusion Extrusion Plant. This role demands attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the production process.

The hourly compensation range is $22.00 to $25.00, depending on experience. You will work Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m. 

• Operate pultrusion extrusion machinery to produce high-quality materials according to specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure efficient and accurate production.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pultrusion or extrusion.
• Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
