Swing Shift - Production Coordinator - Ultra Department

Milgard Windows and Doors is a leader in the window and door industry, known for our dedication to quality and innovation. We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Production Coordinator to support our Ultra Department on the swing shift. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations and high-quality standards within the department. The Production Coordinator in the Ultra Department is responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring that production schedules are met during the swing shift. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

The hourly compestion starts at $24.00, depending on expericne, plus, $2.00 shift differential for working the swing shift. You will work Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 p.m. 

• Coordinate daily operations and activities within the Ultra Department to meet production goals.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with department personnel to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and workforce assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on production status and challenges.
• Support team members with administrative tasks and documentation as required.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance departmental performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a coordination or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work the swing shift and overtime as required.
