Inventory Control Coordinator

At Milgard Windows and Doors, we pride ourselves on being a leader in the window and door manufacturing industry. Our Tacoma Manufacturing Plant, is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator to join our maintenacne department. You are responsible for maintaining the plant's Maintenance Parts & Tool Inventory, facilitating improvements in department execution and efficiency. This role focuses on reducing production unplanned downtime by ensuring that the right parts and tools are stocked, maintained, and available as required by plan.

You will work Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m.

• Order and receive inventory from vendors and suppliers.
• Manage and maintain inventory and stocking plans.
• Update inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Report discrepancies in inventory or inventory processes.
• Ensure physical inventory matches electronic records maintained in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to kit parts for planned jobs.
• Maintain and report on inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software / CMMS.
• Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
