Receiver I - Night Shift

Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday 7pm - 5:30am

Friday 7p - 3:30am

Pay Rate - $18.50 + $1.25 Shift Differential

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MITER operating system, and Philosophy.
• Receive raw material and verify against the packing slip.
• Accurately code received goods to the proper account.
• Supply material as needed and/or requested to the production line and other departments.  Accurately received goods to the proper account.
• Assist in preparation for, and completion of inventory.  Generate barcode labels as required.
• Keep all parts in responsibility adequately always stocked.  Communicate with a supervisor or Purchasing Department when materials/supplies are running low.
• Incorporates MITER’s vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to the MITER Guiding Principles.
• Adheres to all facets of safety policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skill: Must possess high school level reading, writing and math skills. This job requires the ability to interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions. Interaction will be required with area workers, Sunrise external customers vendors, office personnel, our outsource carriers, and Sunrise drivers. Good interpersonal skills are needed to operate in and maintain a team environment. Must have sufficient reasoning ability, in order to problem solve with or without oral or written instructions.

The main functions of the job require moving product of all sizes and weights by hand or with some type of cart assistance. twisting; pushing; and talk and hear. The employee must repetitively lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds. 75 pounds or more must be lifted with assistance.
