Production Team Lead I

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Floating Production Team Lead to come and join our growing company, in Tacoma, Washington at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role you will lead our Fiberglass Doors and Insulated Glass team. You must have prior manufacturing experience leading a team, in a demanding environment. In addition, you will have prior glass experience.

The hourly compensation range is between $26.00 to $30.00, depending on experience. Plus, $2.00 shift differential. Monday through Friday starting at 3:30 p.m.

• Prior lead/supervisory experience mentoring and motivating a team of individuals. 
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred. 
• Kaizen experience preferred.
• ORACLE experience is a plus.
• Compute basic math equations.
• High-level of Mechanical Aptitude.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Pivot table experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. 
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
