Hourly compensation starts at $18.15 per hour. Monday through Friday, 7 AM scheduled start.
• Assigned to non-complex dealer base.
• Learn and • Assigned to non-complex dealer base.
• Learn and understand our quoting software CustomView & WebCP.
• Understand all internal processes quote to order.
• Learn to identify product limitations, wind load, steel requirements & product options.
• Discusses, interprets, and edits quotes in WebCP which are received through emails for standard and/or special order line items.
• Initiates calls to dealers to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing information on quotes.
• Compiles and verifies all documents required, quotes are finalized, and identifies data to be entered prior to order entry/submittal into production.
• Customer supplied hdw./jobsite approvals, understand processes.
• Request CAD drawings for dealers and/or production when required for manufacturing.
• Follows through to ensure resolution on quotes prior to submitting into order entry.
• Reviews and authorizes, within approval level, discount requests from dealers/ sales representatives.
• Fill out any SOPT’s (special order parts travelers) that are required and send to production control & purchasing for special ordering.
• Determine correct ship method and shipping charge.
• Submit finalized quotes into order entry for submittal into production.
• Extensive daily communication internally and externally.
• Communicate backorders with new ship dates.
• Consults with other departments within the company to resolve dealer issues.
• Must be able to bring dealer conflicts to resolution within assigned discretion.
• Submit dealer change requests, including additional ship-to’s.
• Utilize Bill of Materials (BOM) to configure parts to check stock.
• Report any discrepancies in quoting software.
• Support ISS Level II and outside sales teams.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• One to two years customer service background.
• Strong communication & writing comprehensive skills.
• High School Diploma.
• Requires proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
• Window & door experience preferred.
• Team player.
LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Requires good verbal, written, and listening skills with external and internal customers.
• Ability to speak effectively on the phone.
• Response times within 2 hours.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
• Basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Requires some calculating.
REASONING ABILITY
• Must be able to multi-task and efficiently prioritize workload.
• Must be able to relate effectively with customers in tense situations. Ability to maintain self-control under stress.
