Production Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator for our Vinyl department to come and join our team in Tacoma, Washington at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you will have the mechanical aptitude with the ability to use other hand tools. You will assist in the work activities of the department team members. Additionally, you work directly with the department supervisor and department lead to seeing that all manufacturing orders are followed through properly to completion and are filled properly before the deadline.

The position requires a start time of 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities available. Compensation ranges from $24.89 to $27.00.

• Work with shift lead in the assignment and coordinate with team members to always achieve an efficient operation.
• Assist the shift Lead and Supervisor in following up with all manufacturing orders that are followed through properly to completion and are filled out properly before turning in.
• Assists personnel in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Provide orderly and efficient changeovers to the next shift.
• Demonstrate Milgard’s Core Values in all business interactions.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment

• Prior leadership experience mentoring and motivating a team of individuals. 
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred. 
• Compute basic math equations and accurately read a tape measure. 
• High level of Mechanical Aptitude 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) 
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
