Production Assembler

A Production Assembler in our Fiber Glass Doors department, in Tacoma, WA, is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. This position is at our Tacoma Manufacturing building consisting of 500 plus team members. You must be able to perform tasks as assigned in the construction of patio doors in all phases of assembly, in our Fiber Glass line. In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance. Background in construction, roofing, framing, and manufacturing is key to the success in this role.

The hourly rate starts at $22.00. Monday through Friday starting at 5:00 a.m.

• One year of similar work experience (Assembly, Manufacturing, construction, roofing, and/or Warehouse)
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Compute basic math problems to include fractions, and addition/subtraction.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
