Production Supervisor - Day Shift

Pay Range: $71,000 - $89,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for a Day Shift Production Supervisor for our Temecula, CA location.

In this role you will be directly responsible for the overall management of the assigned department, including all aspects of current operation to ensure acceptable safety, housekeeping, quality, productivity, employee conduct and performance criteria are achieved and a member of the Temecula leadership team. Direct responsibility for all department employees to ensure proper orientations, training, development, compensation and working conditions are present.

• Participates in the Leadership Development Program (LDP) for the location.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job.
• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned. 

• Minimum two (2) to three (3) years’ production leadership experience
• High School diploma required; Some college preferred
• Prior employee management experience preferred
• Must be able to function with minimal supervision
• Read, write, and understand the English language
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to motivate personnel and ability to work in, and promote, a team environment
• Ability to motivate employees to achieve results. Must be an effective communicator, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the Milgard work environment and supporting the Company philosophy

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

• Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions.
• Hearing protection and safety glasses required; additional safety equipment provided based on specific job.
